NEW SPRED IRELAND WEBSITE

SPRED (Special Religious Education) have launched a new website to inform on the work of SPRED in Ireland.

SPRED groups are parish based and consist of small groups of people in parishes who come together to form little communities of faith and friendship with people who have learning disabilities. The groups grow together by following an appropriate method of catechesis designed and arranged to meet their needs. Our aim is to prepare the way for our friends for full participation in the liturgical life of parish community.

The new website initiative has been put together by Patricia Lennon who is the SPRED Coordinator for the Armagh Diocese and includes details of SPRED programmes in Armagh, Derry, Down and Connor, throughout Ireland and Worldwide.
