Armagh Cathedrals Partnership invite you to a special evening of music, story, poetry and prayer to celebrate St Patrick. The guest speaker will be Dean William Morton, Dean of St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin. During the evening, he will reflect on “Patrick and Columba, a Tale of Three Cities”. It promises to be a very special evening as we celebrate the St Patrick’s Festival in Armagh and light refreshments will be served afterwards.
A Taste of Theology
The second in a series of three talks during Lent will take place on Thursday 14th March in the Community Services Centre, Scarlet Crescent, Drogheda at 7.30pm. It will be presented by Larry Corrigan on “Christian Art and Scripture”.
Prior to St Patrick’s Day, the Primates of the two principal Churches in Ireland, Archbishop Richard Clarke and Archbishop Eamon Martin, along with their specially invited guest, will discuss what St Patrick means to them in a 21st century context and how his words continue to resonate across the world.
The Primates of all Ireland, Archbishops Clarke and Martin, invite you and your family to commemorate St Patrick’s Day, at a special joint event in the shared space between our two magnificent Cathedrals. This symbolic expression of unity of the Churches is a reflection of St Patrick’s own journey of unifying people within Christianity. Light refreshments will be served.
